Mel Farr Superstar Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 tax exempt nonprofit organization (EIN 81-2059275) created to continue the legacy of Mel Farr, Sr’s principles of inclusion, mentoring, social justice, and overall commitment to excellence. The foundation sustains youth football camps including the “Georgia Showcase” in Atlanta and the “Motor City Showcase” in Detroit.
Foundation football camp programs provide opportunities for high school seniors to showcase their talents to Division II, III, and NAIA schools. These are free camps for both coaches and athletes. The foundation, through these camps, focuses on getting young athletes financial packages to attend college while playing football.
The foundation is built upon the four pillars in the name FARR. F - faithful, A - accountable, R - respectful, and R - responsible. Your donation is tax deductible and allows young people to showcase their talents to recruiters from across the nation for FREE. The donation is used for every aspect of the foundation’s youth football camps in Georgia and Detroit, and other programs operated by the Mel Farr Superstar Foundation.

MISSION and VISION
The
Mel Farr Superstar Foundation is a nonprofit corporation under the Georgia code, geared toward fostering education and sports inclusion, membership programs, inspirational programs, youth talent discovery, personal development, and uplifting and enhancing youth productivity. It helps and assists youths toward successful careers and to becoming useful, and productive citizens via sports – particularly football.

The
Mel Farr Superstar Foundation assists students with financial aid commitments by providing free camps, including the
Georgia Showcase (Marietta, GA) and the
Motor City Showcase (Detroit, MI) which provide high school seniors the platform to showcase their talents to Division II, III and NAIA schools. The camp is free for both coaches and (student) athletes.

EVENT 24 is the inaugural event introducing and kicking off a series of initiatives developed for Detroit in honor of the life and legacy of Mel Farr, “Superstar.”
Hosted at Detroit’s One Mike entertainment venue, the event boasts, “food, fashion, and fun,” featuring comedic entertainment, and a limited edition fashion show featuring never seen, one-of-a-kind, 24-piece collection, honoring Mel Farr Sr, created by his daughter, fashion designer, Monet Farr-Bartell.
The event serves to celebrate the life of
Mel Farr, “Our superstar,” extending and spotlighting his legacy of sports and entrepreneurship for the Detroit community and the next generation of athletes and business owners.
The event launches the celebration of
Mel Farr’s legacy in conjunction with and on the eve of the
2024 NFL Draft.
